Reef Family Rooms

Two interconnecting rooms creating one big family space - brilliant if you've got kids. That's two queen beds plus two singles, and two full bathrooms so everyone's not fighting for the shower in the morning. You get double the balcony space too, and it's 97 square meters total, so there's plenty of room to spread out.

Reef Suites

The top-floor luxury option - two-storey suites on the 19th floor with private balconies on both levels. Separate lounge and dining area, kitchenette, and those incredible Whitsunday views from every angle. Some suites even have their own spa bath. If you're treating yourself, this is the way to do it.

"Rooms are massive, plenty of room all with breathtaking views of the water, the balcony is very private. Hotel amenities were perfect - pool, buffet, bar and lounge, restaurant, in room dining, transit lounge. Quality and well stocked food at the buffet each morning. Although the hotel is the largest on the island it didn't feel it. The check in process was seamless."

We also enjoyed walking on the beach each day and there is a large terrace pool and access to several other pools. "Massive rooms with great views of the water. Free shuttle to and from the airport and the marina, and everything was very organized from top to bottom. The main room and bathroom were huge, with both a bath and shower. Beds were comfortable and the view wonderful. It did exceed my expectations."

Good to know: Some rooms, particularly the king rooms, haven't been renovated yet and can feel a bit dated. The queen rooms have been recently refreshed. Also, the hallways are open-air at the back, which keeps things naturally ventilated but you might hear people walking past. Most guests say the location and views more than make up for any aging decor.
